Refusing to hospitalize Covid patients:(

10 days ago while I was on call, the phone rings. It is the emergency room. The resident on the other end tells me she has Covid patients in need of oxygen and requiring hospital admission. She makes a specific request:“If the person in charge of the call tonight is not going to admit the patients, please tell us so we could find another health institution that would accept them”. I was wondering; why would she ask such question. I went to the emergency room, I evaluated patients and I asked what was going on. Apparently this specific physician (in charge for the call this particular night) refused to admit hypoxic Covid patients in the past. And apparently there is an investigation going on against her. Emergency room residents are made aware to take special precautions when she is on board. To avoid any delay in patient care, they asked ahead of time. During my call, the patients that needed attention were admitted and thankfully the worst was avoided.

I find it outrageous to refuse to care for Tunisian patients in their own country. I am witnessing horrible very hard to accept situations. I never witnessed such things oversees. These horrible experiences in Tunisia hit me very hard. Among the things I witnessed are: refusing to admit hypoxic covid patients, planning to cut these patients off oxygen and food, accusing these patients of being terrorists, accusing these patients of being a threat to security, refusing palliative and end of life care to these patients and the list goes on. These are crimes against people of one`s own country, ethnicity, race, color, religion everything. These are crimes against all humanity. Public hospitals are becoming Nazi gas chambers.   

Tunisians physicians are still unconscious and still think that in the US, UK, Canada, China, people are practicing medicine the same way they are practicing in Tunisia. Of course not! Here are a couple of arguments supporting my own opinion. First, the vaccine has not been discovered in Tunisia, not with this kind of malefactor attitude. Second, in Libya (an embattled country with a civil war and a North African country just like us) Covid mortality rate is better than us. Such a low mortality rate within a country experiencing war is not achieved by refusing to admit hypoxic corona virus patients or by planning to cut them off oxygen or food.

Tunisian physicians have the impression that they are teaching medicine to others however in reality they are revealing the grim reality of their own mediocrity.

If a vaccine has been discovered in the west, it is because people work hard, are more disciplined and respect the law and human rights.

Il ya une dizaine de jour,  j`étais de garde et on m`appelle des urgences. La résidente au bout du fil me dit qu`elle a des patients infectés au coronavirus qui ont besoin d`oxygène, ils doivent être hospitalisés. Elle m`a encore dit : « dites nous si la responsable de garde ne va pas les prendre, comme ca on les envoie ailleurs». Je me suis demandée pourquoi on me parle de cette manière. Je vais aux urgences, j`évalue les patients et je demande qu`est ce qui se passe. Apparemment la responsable de cette garde a refusé de prendre des malades atteint de Covid au paravent. Et apparemment il ya une enquête qui est entamée en son égard. Les résidents des urgences sont avises et donc pour éviter un retard de prise en charge, ils ont demandé a l`avance. Les patients de la garde que j`assurait ont été admis pour être soigné. Et le pire a été évité.

Je suis outragée qu`on puisse refuser de soigner des patients tunisiens dans leur pays. Je suis entrain de témoigner des choses très dures pour moi que je n`ai pas témoigné a l`étranger. Ca tape très fort.

On n`admet pas les patients atteint de Covid, on veut leur couper l`oxygène et la nourriture, on les accuse de terroriste et de personnes a danger pour la sureté, on les interdit de soins de fin de vie etc. C`est des crimes envers des gens de son propre pays, ethnie, race, couleur, religion tout ce qu`on veut. Et c`est des crimes envers toute l`humanité. Les hôpitaux publics deviennent des chambres a gaz des nazies.

Les médecins Tunisiens sont encore inconscients et pensent qu`aux Etats Unis, Grande Bretagne, Canada, Chine et autre on pratique la médecine de la même manière on pratique la médecine en Tunisie.

Eh ben non. La preuve est que le vaccin n`a pas été découvert en Tunisie. La preuve est que même la Libye (un pays nord africain tout comme nous et en guerre) a des chiffres de mortalité meilleure que nous. On n`arrive pas a un chiffre de mortalité bas si on refuse d`admettre des patients nécessitant l`oxygène ou si on veut leur couper l`oxygène.

Les médecins Tunisiens ont l`impression qu`ils sont en train d`enseigner la médecine aux autres mais en fin de compte ils sont entrain de révéler leur médiocrité.  

Si on est arrivé  à découvrir un vaccin dans les pays de l`ouest c`est parce qu`il s`agit de gens qui travaillent dur, qui sont disciplinés et qui respectent la loi et les droits des autres.
